Giro Adavantage with visor

So after seeing pictures of custom Giro TT helmets with visors like this:

and this:I decided to give it a try myself, and here is what mine looks like:

I got the LG windscreen in the darker color. I think that i will be able to race without sunglasses with this set up. I'll be able to keep more sweat out of my eyes and be able to see better without the top of the sunglasses blocking my vision, both of which should let me race with changing position as much and maybe going a bit faster.

The ultimate fixed gear workout?

70 gear inches + 68lbs of weight (trailer, 4y/o, plus mandatory toys, food, blankets)

I did 1.5hr tonight with my daughter in the back. With the tall orange flag and the blinky lights, I know i look like a total dork, but i don't care.

New toys

I added a few new toys to the ride this week. The components were over 3 years old so it was time to upgrade. I sold the D/A shifters and Derailleur, and replaced with Sram Red. Replaced the worn out chain rings with some lighter Stronglight rings and replaced the seat post, stem and handlebar, changed to a K-force with 32mm setback, FSA Carbon OS99 stem and EC90 Bar. I was also able to snag a set of Negative-G brakes on Ebay pretty cheap.
